Moscowzinho

On April 24th, 2015, the community of Moscowzinho - located on José Braz Moscow Street, in the neighborhood of Candeias - received for the second time from Jaboatão dos Guararapes' city governance an order of voluntary demolition, without any guarantee of compensation or right to housing. The community has been in the area for over 50 years, saw the city grow around it and is now at risk of being wiped out by land grabbing.
